Connor and Bekah Hughes joined the AIA staff team in 2016. It was a return home for Connor after playing football at UVA and spending time in professional leagues. Connor serves Athletes in Action locally as the Team lead and nationally as the US Champion for our South Africa Partnership. On any given weekend, you'll find Connor, Bekah, and their 4 boys remodeling their home, hiking, or involved with kids sports. They are members of Center Church.

Kelly and Nancy Scott launched a ministry called Cru at UVA in 2000.  From 2008 -2023 they led AIA at Virginia. Nancy remains on staff leading our women on grounds. Kelly stays connected and serves as Assistant Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian. Kelly and Nancy love hanging out with their five kids, taking evening walks to the grounds of UVA, enjoying meals in their home with students and other friends, finding yet another amazing restaurant in C’ville, exercising, and reading—especially over a good cup of coffee!  Kelly did his graduate study at Reformed Theological Seminary.
